Hotel sets up the guest app

Create your hotel profile, add your guest app menu and content — WiFi password, hotel info, experiences, dining — and prepare the experience before guests arrive. Takes less than an hour.

Hotel generates room links

Generate a QR code and unique link for each room from your dashboard. Every guest who scans opens the correct hotel page with the right room already attached — no confusion, no manual entry.

Guest scans the QR code

The guest points their phone camera at the QR code on the desk, door, or welcome card. Your hotel app opens instantly in their browser. No download. No login. No friction.

Guest browses the stay

Guests can browse experiences, transfers, restaurants, and hotel information. Everything you added is right there, laid out cleanly on their phone screen.

Guest sends a request

The Requests tab lets guests send a message with their name, room number, request title, optional timing, and any extra notes. It arrives in your dashboard the moment they submit it.

Hotel replies and marks it done

You see each request in your dashboard, reply directly to the guest, update the status, and mark it done when complete. The guest sees your reply and the updated status on their screen.

Common questions
Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests open a regular web page on their phone browser by scanning the QR code. There is nothing to download or install.

Do guests need to create an account or log in?

No. The QR code link already contains the hotel and room context. Guests land straight on your hotel guest app with the right room attached — no sign-up, no login.

How does the two-way messaging work?

When a guest sends a request, it appears in your dashboard. You can type a reply from the dashboard and the guest sees your response the next time they open their request on their phone. No app needed on either side.

How do I set up a QR code for each room?

From your dashboard go to Rooms, add a room, and click the QR icon. A unique QR code is generated for that room. Print it and place it somewhere visible — on the desk, the back of the door, or a card on the bedside table.

Can I customise what guests see?

Yes. You control the menu cards (Experiences, Transfers, Dining, Hotel Info, etc.), the content inside each card, your hotel name and branding, and what the request form says. Everything is managed from your dashboard.

What languages does the guest app support?

STAYOS includes 8 built-in display languages. Guests see the interface in their preferred language automatically based on their browser setting.

How quickly do requests arrive in the dashboard?

Requests appear in your dashboard immediately. The dashboard refreshes automatically, or you can reload the page at any time.

What happens if a guest scans the QR code after they check out?

The QR link stays active as long as the room exists in your dashboard. You can regenerate room links at any time from the Rooms section if you want to issue new QR codes for incoming guests.
